How It Works

Local-first coordination for stewardship, trust, and long-horizon community life.

Social Fabric helps communities take care of people, place, and shared systems by combining local runtime, trust-based action, guided workflows, place context, and durable commons memory in one platform.

01

Local-first operation

Social Fabric is designed to operate locally first. Nodes, devices, field operations, and community processes should be able to function without treating the cloud as the default center of authority.

02

Trust-based action

Trust is made actionable through rights, review, provenance, delegated authority, and TrustZones. Not everything should be treated the same, and not everything should be exposed or governed the same way.

03

Recipes and guided execution

Recipes turn intention into structured action. They define inputs, steps, gates, evidence, outputs, and review requirements so communities can move from idea to implementation with traceable structure.

04

Place and context binding

Work in Social Fabric is grounded in place. Parcels, sites, patches, watershed context, policy overlays, and best available science all shape what can be done, where, and under what conditions.

05

Commons, memory, and federation

The platform supports shared knowledge, provenance, publication, retrieval, and federation across local nodes and broader scopes without erasing local authority.
