Shared memory, stewarded knowledge, and durable community lineage.
Social Fabric includes a source-backed knowledge commons substrate for holding what communities know, publish, share, and carry forward. It is designed for provenance, stewardship, retrieval, and bounded reuse rather than disposable uploads.
Commons substrate
Social Fabric already includes a source-backed knowledge commons substrate for contribution, retrieval, replication, training policy, corpus release, and lineage.
Stewarded shared memory
The commons is not generic content storage. It is the stewarded layer where communities hold shared memory, shared resources, narrative, and reusable knowledge with provenance and governance intact.
Bounded reuse
Commons materials can be published, shared, and reused under trust, rights, review, and lineage conditions rather than flat permissionless copying.
Current gap
Community Knowledge Commons exists as a platform substrate. Community Knowledge Seeds are not yet built. The seed layer remains a distinct next implementation step.
